Who owns Channel 9? How does this ownership impact both the daily news reports and their stock price?
In this piece, I want to ‘follow the money’ and show you that Channel 9 is basically a Pyramid scheme.
To do this, let’s think of Channel 9 (and other media channels) as a funnel.
The funnel moves from General to Specific.
Top of the Funnel At the top of the funnel (i.e. those pushing the messages and assigning the content) are the shareholders.Who are the shareholders?
Mainly superannuation funds, investment funds, and most with vested interests in the “virus economy”.
The 5 largest (non holding) owners of Channel 9 are investment funds:
Dimensional Fund Advisors
The Vanguard Group
The question me wonders is why would investment firms want to own a media company?
Let’s put it this way. It is a sales machine for them, with a little content thrown in.
No, they are not just looking at the profits from advertising (which is shrinking revenue).
They want to ensure that their agenda is included in public discourse. They get to mass influence and direct a whole bunch of gullible and compliant people.
Remember investment funds are companies. They are not just investors, they have corporate missions, goals, and visions.
They want particular outcomes and are not disinterested.
It also makes more sense for an investment fund to be involved in media, rather than Big Pharma or the like - that would be too obvious. In other words, they are a corporate Cayman Islands for corporate interests.
A cursory amount of research on each of these groups and their shareholders tend to explain why Channel 9 viewers see the particularly ads they do.
See the Westpac chopper? That’s because Westpac is an investor.
Middle Section of Funnel At the middle of the pyramid, you get to the public shareholders. This includes institutional investors as well as other funds, and mums and dads investors.
It is really incredible to look at the financial charts for Channel 9.
For a company that was tanking in late 2019, they have experienced a rocket like growth over the past two years.
Is it any coincidence that this media company’s growth imitates the growth of the “Corona Virus.”
Check this graph out ....
A couple of noticeable things:
1. Channel 9's stock price has grown since early 2020. They certainly are profiting off pumping up viruses. Now at a record high.
2. In March 2020, when the virus lockdowns were being announced, they were a lot of trades (where the arrow is on the charts). It seems to suggest that they knew something we didn’t know, doesn’t it?
Bottom Section of Funnel This is where all the hopeless dupes, numpties, and airheads reside aka ‘TV Watchers’.
While people are at home passively shake their heads any way that the corporate shareholders and investors want them to be, they often don’t realise that they are the product.
Going out and getting questionably effective and potentially fatal jabs, tests that don’t work, and wearing masks for public theatre, they are the gift that keep giving.
More than this, they buy the products blasted through Channel 9 - whether that be Challenger insurance or health products. They buy the equipment and health services to ‘protect’ themselves. Then they read and pay for the media to reinforce their beliefs that someone is out to get them. Or they pay for entertainment (i.e Stan) to keep these profits rolling in.
What’s incredible to me is it is super funds are the ultimate rip off merchants. The super funds like to appear benevolent but they are far from it. Here’s the cycle: You work to pay them, and then they charge you not only for their ‘services’ but to buy the products and services they want you to. They have their finger in every pie, in other words. This leads me to a poem: The more you look, the more you see. At the top of the tree, someone is shaking down you and me. Any article, news story, or ‘fact’ presented, needs to be filtered through the lens of corporate profit seekers making a shed load of money out of this ‘Virus’. This is not a coincidence, I think not.
The media (and investors) love this virus. It’s the gift that keeps giving. We need to do something. It’s easy. Turn them off. They rely on attention, as with attention their machine starts to roll.
The big challenge for those in the parallel movement is to engage in other sources of information that isn’t full of product placement, pushing harmful products in concert with government, and big business.
