@foodwiseapd You can't really help children without considering what's happening to their parents and in this case I see that they are victims of a systematic and deliberate, widespread propaganda campaign.... a system of programming designed to disempower parents. Parenting occurs within a veritable war of forces.... whether that's government, the inflexible labour market or the incessant media programming that is targeted at children. It's a bit like the Djokervic situation... don't hate the players, hate the game

It is a lot to do with the media propagandizing the new variant, they are saying that the new 'Omicron' variant is 'deadly' for children.... drumming fear into people, a convenient narrative as they are just about to roll out vaccines for the younger age groups.. all of a sudden the virus is deadly for children (in the news) but where is the scientific evidence for this? I feel sorry for the parents who believe they are doing the right thing, out of fear.

I do love stories about walking in Melbourne by the bay... (what's left of it). I used to go to the Port Melbourne beach during the day... or the bit that's a little bit closer to South Melbourne but not as far as the popular bit where the kids playground is.... This was about 12 years ago mind you, it's probably busy nowadays but at that time I would go down during a weekday... if I went in the morning, nobody there... always tranquil, never ceased to amaze me... how good is walking...
